water-resources availability
All nations should cooperate to understand the importance of an integrated approach to water-resources management at both international and local level, the imbalances between availability and demand, the degradation of ground water and surface water quality. Water should not be regarded as unlimited resources Our continued growth in global temperature, and population, water conservation practice need to start ASAP People are more worried about other things as economics or global warming, but all the while our pure water supplies are dwindling away each year without public awareness the whole planet could be looking at a major catastrophe if measures are not taken to protect future pure water resources and also to assure and develop new resources. The available of water resources not enough to ensuring a reliable supply of good quality of portable water for the over six billion people on earth and become one of the greatest challenge of our era. water though renewable, has a fixed volume available for human use, so increase in population means an increase in the demand of this source for various purposes- Industrial, agriculture, domestic and others. The second crises is the deteriorating of water quality. Agriculture is the biggest polluter as increased use of fertilizer and pesticides has contaminated both ground and surface water supplies. Domestic and industrial pollution is also increasing the same problem. These problems noticed in both developed and partially developing countries. Clean water is becoming a scarce commodity in today’s world, this trend is only going to continue unless we all start realize how scares a resource pure water is. Yes we still have many sources of water available, but unfortunately most of these sources of water are salt water or lakes and streams that are laden in heavy metals as mercury or lead as other types of metals that can accumulate in our bodies which affect our health or life.
